This week we’re featuring Ranger (the mini version) from Strawberry Mountain Mustangs!

From SMM’s director:

“Ranger is currently in a foster home in Springfield, Oregon where he’s getting daily love and attention. After being removed from a Lake County hoarding case, he’s had his feet done, teeth taken care of (after obvious years of neglect) and is steadily gaining weight. He’s approximately 10 years old, would make a great companion or cart pony. ”

Ranger (the mini version, not to be confused with our other Ranger – also up for adoption) – is an adorable roan mini from a hoarding case involving the Lake County Sheriff’s Office. Ranger came in Miss Faith and Max – all underweight, all with horribly over grown hooves and all needing a bit of TLC.

Ranger is doing well now (we need some updated pictures) but the first picture shows him soon after arrival.

He’s easy to catch and handle, but can be a bit cranky if you aren’t quick with his food.

Miniatures are not meant to be ridden – they were intended to be cart ponies – and many are just not suitable for small children – even though the ponies are small themselves. We ALWAYS recommend adult supervision!

Adoption Fee: $150
